Privacy

SugarPulse is analytics and operations software for Amazon sellers, operated by Mountain Meadow Holdings LLC. The application itself is in private use while it is being built: access is limited to named staff and contractors who have been added to its allowlist. The public pages on this site are open to anyone.

If you answered the poll

The poll on our home page stores exactly what you ticked and typed: the options you selected, anything you wrote in the free-text box, the tools you told us you use, and an email address only if you chose to enter one. That is the entire record.

We set no cookie on that page and run no analytics or tracking script, so nothing follows you around and your answer is not joined to anything else about you. If you leave the email field blank, we have no way to connect the answer to you, and no way to find it again on your behalf.

To be exact about one thing a privacy policy often glosses: like any website, this one runs on servers that keep standard request logs, and those logs include the IP address and browser user-agent of every visit. That is our hosting provider's ordinary record, kept about a month and used only to keep the site running and to deal with abuse. It is never joined to your poll answer, and the answer itself is stored without it.

If you do give us an email address, we use it for one thing: to contact you when there is a working product to try. We will not add you to a newsletter, sell or share the address, or pass it to an advertiser. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

If you sign in to the application

Sign-in uses Google with the basic profile scopes only: your email address, your name and your profile picture. We use them to recognize you, to decide whether you are on the allowlist, and to show who is signed in. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or any other Google data.

How it is stored

Records are stored in a database hosted by Neon (Postgres) and the application runs on Google Cloud. A session cookie exists only to keep you signed in and expires after 30 days of inactivity or when you sign out.

The SKU Hover browser extension

SugarPulse publishes a browser extension, SugarPulse SKU Hover, which marks a seller's own SKU numbers on the pages they visit and shows the product behind one when hovered. It is distributed unlisted, to the same allowlisted staff.

The extension reads your existing SugarPulse session cookie and sends it to sugarpulse.ai to prove who you are, so that it can fetch the SKU list for your account. That cookie is never sent anywhere else, and the extension has permission to talk to no other site. If you are not signed in to SugarPulse, it does nothing.

It reads the text of the pages it runs on only to find SKU numbers in it, in your browser, and never transmits page content, your browsing history, or anything you type. It deliberately ignores anything you are actively typing. The product data it fetches is cached in your own browser and refreshed periodically. Nothing about your activity is sent back to us: SugarPulse cannot see which pages you visited or which SKUs you looked at.

What we do not do

We do not sell, share or advertise with your information. We do not use it for anything other than operating this application and deciding what to build next.

Removal and questions

To have your account or your poll answer removed, or for any question about this statement, email privacy@sugarpulse.ai. Removing an allowlist entry deletes that session and account record.
